Amazon LCLS Lookup
Do you use Amazon.com® to locate books?
Wish you could easily find out if the Library owns a book you have found?
Now you can!
Our Amazon LCLS Lookup tool displays information about the Library status of books you find in Amazon, right on the Amazon results page.
Just click on the link on the Amazon page and you wil see if a title is
available locally. The Lookup tool requires the Firefox web browser.

How to Install the Amazon LCLS Lookup
- Get the Firefox browser (free),
if you need it and install. Available for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux.
- Next you need to install
the plugin Greasemonkey for your Firefox browser. Installation and instructions for installing Greasemonkey can be found here.
- Next, go to userscripts.org: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/29764
- Click on the “Install this script” button on the upper right of the website
- A dialog box will pop up titled “Greasemonkey Installation”, which displays the name of the script you are about to install, a brief description, and a list of included pages, in this case
http://*.amazon.*
- Click “install” to install this script
- Now when you use Amazon, a yellow box will appear on the right side of Amazon’s screen that will tell you if the book is available in one of the Lycoming County libraries.
IMDB LCLS Search
Firefox
users can see if the Lycoming County Library System has a DVD or video
in the Internet Movie Database (IMDB). While viewing a movie title on
IMDB, the IMDB –
LCLS Library Search script will show the availability of the title in the
Lycoming County Library System catalog. It also has link to the catalog.
This tool requires Greasemonkey to be installed in your Firefox browser. Installation and instructions for installing Greasemonkey can be found here.
If you have already installed it, no need to repeat.
How to install the LCLS (Lycoming County Library System) IMDB user script:
- Then go to the script site at userscripts.org: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/29778
